Tom Spark’s Favorite Privacy Tools

(Beta – Work in Progress)

This is an updated list of my top recommended privacy-related tools. I’ve tested and reviewed or at least mentioned most of these on my channel. I am still working on this list.

Malware Protection – Malwarebytes

Malwarebytes is a great program to use on your computer. It makes sure you don’t visit any stupid websites, and it’s a great malware scanner as well. It doesn’t ever get in the way, is light on system resources, and is easy to use. Combine this with windows defender, and you don’t need a more expensive and annoying full-fledged antivirus software.

Encrypted Email – PrivateMail

PrivateMail is my go-to recommendation for encrypted email. It’s a bit rough around the edges in terms of UI still here and there, and not quite as polished as some other options.

But, since you can get it free with 1 year of TorGuard VPN, it’s the best deal for encrypted email. Tons of storage, lots of cool features, a mobile app, and a trusted team–all basically for free with 1 year of TG. See this video for more info about that deal.
